In 2007 our Chief Executive was head of a specialist marketing and research consultancy and was asked to judge as part of a panel on a national business awards programme.
Having worked with a wide variety of organisations in her 20+ year marketing and research career, Cristine was still surprised to discover just how little market intelligence was available to the awards entrants. Where data was available, it was either lacking in scope or simply too expensive for the majority of SMEs.
From this experience, getsmart was born: a system with research smarts built-in. A system that is expertly-designed, modular and scalable to suit the needs of organisations large and small. A system that uses a shared solution/shared cost model so that it's accessible to businesses of any size – with the added benefit of benchmarking as standard.
Getting quality information into the hands of managers and decision makers – so that organisations can do business better – was central to getsmart's value proposition then and remains so today.
getsmart is based in Wellington, New Zealand, a city known globally for its technical innovation, hospitality, creativity and resourcefulness.
